Early pieces included resin chairs covered with hundreds of brilliantly colored nylon stocking balls. After the chairs, I began creating wall hangings using much of the same materials.
My current art employs the use of malleable wire. These pieces are intended to be reconfigured by the viewer. Several of the pieces will sway when placed in a wind current. The stocking creatures might be seen as caricatures of garden insects emerging from their cocoon. |
