My work incorporates drawings, photographs and woodcuts that are reproduced and manipulated to reconstitute a new singular digital image or become source material for 3-dimentional collage.

The human form, movement, patterns in nature — line energies, formations and clusters, within our bodies, and in the external world — act as triggers for my drawings and photographs. Whilst being fascinated by nature's unique growth patterns, in my work I am constantly looking for the element of underlying indeterminism where patterns are fractured and dispersed and a new narrative can unfold.

The interaction of digital and handmade modes of working has created a nourishing discourse and influences the content of my work.
