My work highlights inconspicuous yet omnipresent aspects of everyday existence. In excavating details like the relentless city grid or the sterility of institutional space, I hope to inspire contemplation of our dislocation from nature and environment. By inserting ephemeral interventions into existing architectural spaces, I challenge rote experience of space. Through unexpected sensory encounters with the organic and handmade, I seek to offer some respite from the frenetic intensity and alienation of contemporary life.

Each installation is a drawing in space, built from a multitude of repeating marks. By multiplying ordinary elements like sound, shadow, plant, paper, or line, I create poetic systems to sculpt and activate space. I play with malleability of meaning and visual slippage, where street grids dissipate into atmospherics and constellations, consumer waste morphs into musical forests, and plants take flight. By encompassing and engaging the viewer, my installations prompt a profound awareness of the body in physical and social space.
