Los Angeles Art Association (LAAA) is pleased to announce the return of VS., a special collaborative group exhibition opening at Gallery 825 on January 14, 2012.

All artist participants for this exhibition were randomly paired with a fellow emerging artist and tasked with creating a new collaborative artwork. This collaborative construct can lead to new methodologies and outcomes as artists learn to negotiate and collaborate with a partner with different skill sets and work habits.

LAAA Executive Director Peter Mays enthusiastically welcomes this second iteration of VS.: "Our initial VS. exhibition from a few years ago produced a powerful contemporary commentary on the inherent perils and joys of the collaborative process."

Juried by Gemini G.E.L.'s Michele Urton, VS. opens on Saturday, January 14, 2012, and runs through February 3, 2012.
