Cynthia Penna's Auction Pick of the Day | Kelly Berg

" The work of Kelly Berg found its birth in great and powerful natural events.

The artist is deeply influenced by Nature: after a travel to Napoli and the encounter with volcano Vesuvio and the Pompei history she started to reflect about the sense of insignificance of human beings in comparison to Nature and its power.

So paintings which talks about natural events, their origins, their development , fire, water earth are all elements of Nature that deserves  great respect and Berg works underline this sense of respect and even fear.

Berg's works are powerful, strong and colorful; the artists has no doubts, no fear to show her talent in mixing colors and media to obtain paintings in which thickness and bright colors are her real signature together with force and strength."

-Cynthia Penna, Curator Art 1307, Italy/USA
