As a photographer, I have learned to trust my intuition. Words are meant to serve us but provide structure, configure reality and often become “the source of misunderstanding” (Antoine de Saint-Exupery). Working unstructured gives me the freedom to visually explore the world around us. I trust in the glance: the vision seen out of the corner of my eye. Everyday events and ‘things’ are remarkable and provide clues to a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
