I'm often more curious to experiment with new possibilities and what could be, than reproducing something that already exists.
What inspires me most about abstract photography is that although I photograph everyday objects, I love the fact that I never know for sure how they will turn out to be in photographs. Something mundane can turn out to be something beautiful and fascinating.
In abstract photography the use of light is an essential ingredient – the way I use the light and how I aim it at the subject makes the difference. The randomness of it all is the key factor that keeps me interested in photography year after year.
