Artist Statement

Karla Moffett is an LA based, mixed-media artist whose art practice has helped her conquer life’s difficult hurdles, such as addiction, grief, and aging in a fast-paced-ever-changing world.

Karla’s artist path emerged freely after years of allowing other things to take priority. Now, at a crucial precipice in her practice and life, Karla is no longer willing to stay small and quiet.

Karla’s mantra is that growth requires exposure and full sun. With an emphasis on community-building, Karla has shown her work regionally at Las Laguna Art Gallery in Laguna Beach CA, the Sanchez Art Center in Pacifica, CA and My Creative Outlet and Game N Grounds in Chatsworth, CA.
