Artist Statement

The most reassuring thing I’ve garnered from social media has been- we are all nerds. I, at least, used to feel alone for my specific cultural weirdness. Then came the Internet and we realized… we aren’t that odd. I still want to decorate my house with images of the entertainers and the entertainment I like. I make my art bright and colorful- almost logo-like- yet full of detail. Bringing with it our personal nostalgia surrounding the iconic entertainers of our era. People bond over favorites.
