What is your attachment to a city or cities? What connects you to a city, if so? The definition of a city is different in various parts of the world. Some consider a city to be an agglomeration with more than 50,000 inhabitants. Where is the soul of a city? Is it its buildings, its parks, its inhabitants? Is it the activity that takes place in a city? A place of birth may be important to some people and mundane to others. Discovering new places can create new links with a city. Is it your experience in a city that makes it important to you? Do family and friends live there? Or maybe the climate or the presence of natural features such as lakes or mountains that draw you to a city.
